Tanzania Paradise City is a 5,300 m² comprehensive development on Zanzibar Island, integrating residential, entertainment, and service facilities with a capacity of approximately 180 people. The project includes large activity areas and supporting facilities, creating varying cooling loads across different functional spaces. Located in a hot and humid tropical maritime climate, Zanzibar experiences high temperatures, strong solar radiation and high humidity year-round. The combination of large spaces, changing occupancy and continuous cooling demand created significant requirements for cooling capacity, temperature control, air distribution and system reliability.

Zanzibar’s tropical climate—marked by extreme heat and high humidity—creates massive, continuous cooling loads. A robust and reliable HVAC system is essential to withstand these intense environmental stresses and solar radiation while maintaining stable, long-term operation. The project specifically required high-capacity cooling for large, high-occupancy spaces with the ability for rapid temperature adjustments. Precise control was vital to handle fluctuating demands efficiently without compromising the system's performance stability. Final requirements centered on occupant comfort, demanding uniform air distribution and whisper-quiet performance. The resulting solution must combine powerful cooling capacity with refined, draft-free operation to meet the most demanding tropical conditions.
